Domtower ice cream

In November 2025, I posted a message on LinkedIn asking if anyone in my network had connections with an ice cream producer in the Netherlands. My good acquaintance Ingmar Larsen immediately replied in the comments: “then you should check out the company GOODOO!”

This is how the connection with Goodoo’s founder, Tijn Baart, came about. He was immediately enthusiastic about the idea. Together, we took the plunge and visited Utrecht & Partners, where Liza Verkroost was also instantly excited. The idea for Dom Tower ice creams was born!

With the 2.000-year anniversary of the Domplein in Utrecht, we also had a perfect occasion to distribute the ice cream for free to all residents of Utrecht on Kingsday. Thanks to the large order from Utrecht & Partners, Tijn and I were able to have the molds made in China and then, together with Henk from B&G IJs in Friesland, produce the first test samples for tasting.

The flavor was excellent, and the ice cream went into production to officially see the light of day on April 27, 2026! We are proud of this 100% plant-based water ice with 0% added sugar. A monumental ice cream for eternity.
